A Colombian man was detained in Barcelona after he reportedly tried to smuggle about $34,000 worth of cocaine under a poorly-fitted toupee, Reuters reported Tuesday. Police said the man caught their attention when he arrived on a flight from Bogota on June 18 and appeared nervous.

“There is no limit to the inventiveness of drug traffickers trying to mock controls,” the Spanish Police claimed. I suppose they’re right. This Wile E. Coyote level of inventiveness almost worked if it weren’t for the light that entered the cornea, passed through the pupil, and hit the rods and cones of anybody standing nearby. If this is a way to mock the system, you have to feel for this poor guy.

There’s not much more information other than the unidentified man had been charged with a public health violation.
